Hao Ye

Hao is a graduate of the Sugihara lab where he worked as a Ph.D. student and postdoctoral researcher on data-driven modeling of biological systems. He received his PhD in oceanography from SIO in 2015, and has previous degrees in psychology (UCSD) and computer science (Caltech). In addition to contributing to the theory and software for empirical dynamic modeling, his projects include improving forecast models for sockeye salmon in British Columbia and long-term scenario projections for coastal algal blooms in Southern California.
